I was at the Carlton/Geelong game on Friday night and right near the Dangerfield tackle on Walsh. I am amazed he got suspended. It looked like a good tackle and all he did was take him forward in the tackle. These situations happen many times during a game. At what point do we outlaw the tackle and call the game AFL Touch Football?

I see that Steven May has been fined for staging. Fair enough, but I hope that will also apply to those who throw their head back, when there's been no contact to the head.
And I wonder if repeat offenders could eventually be suspended? I mean, I'd quite like someone to be removed from the Brownlow race, for an excessive amount of bad acting.Comment

I agree the repeat offenders should be suspended.Comment

I read a chunk of the most recent Sack Hinkley thread on Bigfooty. There seems to be an awful lot of Port fans who want him gone by the end of the weekend, along with much of their board. It'll be interesting to see if he survives to round 21, when we play them in Adelaide, as I think this Swans team is more than capable, of handing out the sort of thrashing that could finish off an underperforming opposition coach."Unbelievable!" -- Nick Davis leaves his mark on the 2005 semi finalComment

With a fair way (some 13 -14 weeks) out, Im forming a view that we will play the Dogs in the Grand Final, their remaining draw is pretty favourable - maybe .
Norths
Port
Carlton
Cats
Swans
Dees
Crows
Norths
Giants
They could notch up 8 more wins to end with 15 .
Thoughts ?
Lets see if this eventuates or if its rubbish.Comment

Once you pin an arm like Dangerfield did, you render the other player defenceless and deserve to be rubbed out.Comment

I'd love to absolutely humiliate them on GF day (my absolute dream Premiership win) after the travesty of 2016, but equally I don't really want to play them - at their best, they match up well against us, especially when you consider, in Melbourne, against them, we'd be playing against a team with an extra few warm bodies on their side too."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment
