I tend to think Wallace's extremely high opionated profile (is there any from of media he is not on?) will go against him and he won't coach again.

Eade however has kept it a much lower profile and I suspect he may well get a gig next year.

Can't agree with that. Apart from the odd snide remark from Robert Walls (Roosy's mate), I've seen no evidence that Eade's not as widely respected as he always was.

In fact, since his demise as Swans coach, I have had first-hand experience that when Eade talks (both on the footy ground and in a public forum), everyone stops and listens.

Having said that, it will be interesting to see which of the two Hawthorn 'sons' succeeds Schwab. Personally, I think that yoof policies, and promoting 'cheap' assistant coaches, are strategies that have gone a bit cold.

Rocket coming near on last in the Herald tipping comp for 2 years running makes him as much of a coaching expert as me.

I think Eade will bring back tough, accountable footy Hawks were once famous for. Expect a challenge from Don Scott who would destroy the current "pretty boy" culture that has infected the club (Main perpertartor=Shane Crawford).

I also think former coaches DO learn from their mistakes. A capable coach like Eade would have reflected and reformulated his philosophy.
And for my five hundredth post I will defend my favourite non Swan.

Shane Crawford is pretty much the only good thing at Hawthorn. it has been said time and time again that if every other player there applied themselves like Crawf they would be premiers by now. Just because he's pretty doesn't mean he's a pretty boy!

BTW he should have been a Swan, as we all know. Ahh well.

Frawley end of season ? Eade

Schwab end of season - Wallace

Ayres ? end of season ? Neil Craig

Mark Williams ? end of season ? Mark Harvey
Pretty spot on, maybe Ayres wont last the season. Would love to see backstabber Thomas go, but theres so much talent down there a squint eyed baboon would do well. Wallace is a shoo in for a job. Rodney will have to change his style because the old scorched ear technique causes some players to underperform, and the clubs know it. The best sacked coach going around is Stan Alves. Smokeys - Steve Malaxos, Ross Lyon.

Was just listening to MMM talking to the boss of Adelaide, and he reckons Ayres will be coaching Adelaide next year, they have no plans to be rid of him, his contract is up at the end of the year.

                Is another smokey Gary Lyon???

Or did the Tim Watson experience ruin his chances (if indeed he had any)??

He coaches Australia of course, but it is a different game I guess.....
