As of 8.30 this morning ,Peter Mann has withdrawn numerous T-shirt designs with player profiles from Dockerland.com,SO HIDE THEM or BUY THEM NOW,protect all independant sites,CHEERS.

Took me a while to get it too, but looking at the Freo site they organise T-shirts with player's faces on them. Some really clever ones - like "Kill Phil 2" (for Phil Matera), however the AFL has prohibited them from selling any T-shirts with players' images.

If they put an AFL Logo on them and give the AFL x% of every shirt sold, the AFL will not be complaining then.Originally posted by NMWBloods

I know the PowerfromPort.com had the same problem with its logos. The AFL damanded they be taken off the site as they breached copyright and were not in accordance with Telstra's near hegemony of AFL club websites.
Ironically they asked the SANFL Port Magpies if they could use their club logo, and the latter were delighted, allowing anything the site wanted to use.
as we've seen of late over the issue of big flags, the AFL can be total wankers.
I reckon the game is all the worse for Demetriou being in charge. I hate him!

The independent sites like us have to stand up to the AFL TOGETHER.
For instance, I think it's an absolute disgrace that we can't interview players JUST because of the monstrosity that is the official 'website' of the Swans. We are a legitimate, INDEPENDENT media outlet here. Why are they stopping the free flow of information?
