Calton didn't deserve to win! NAY or YAY

I see a few comparisons to Carlton v Collingwood today with our game last week.

For all those who said we didn't deserve to win that game last week, do you say the same thing about Carlton.

One big difference this week was the game was umpired fairly and Carlton could continue the run they started early in the third quarter.

Or should we really award the 4 points to Collingwood.

Hmm...not sure that Collingwood really deserved to win either. They were dreadful. It's just that Carlton were dreadful for less of the game.

but what I am saying is that a lot of people last week said that Essendon deserved to win as they were leading in 3 outa 4 quarters, I just don't understand the reasoning behind this agument.

Yeah I agree! - the game is over 4 quarters. If you were awful for 3 quarters, but kick 10 in the last to win, to me you deserved to win IMO.

It is the team left standing after 4 quarters. Being consistent and even is nice, but in the end who cares if you win.

To me it is like saying that Brisbane were lucky to win the premiership because they lost to Collingwood in the Semi!

does it ever matter when Collingwood deserve to win or not? I was rootin' for the Blues to get up. Thes Pies can languish on the bottom for a little bit longer.

If its against the pies, anyone deserves to win under any circumstances.

How many teams have gone from grand final to wooden spoon in one season?

Every game is a big game.

I also agree that we need to move on but we have to make sure that everyone has vented their spleen first...... I hear its the Australian way.
