Lions or Saints?

The only other team I can really see giving it a shake is Essendon - but we'll see just how reliant they are on Hird in the coming weeks when he isn't there.
Right now I'd still lean towards Brisbane, simply because they have done it before and there is no question of their temperament come September. St Kilda on the other hand, they stood up against the Lions 2 weeks ago, but are still untested at the business end of the season.
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I find it amazing that we are even suggesting the Saints as contenders!
Not trying to be negative, I just think it is so strange that half way through last year the Saints really started to show what they are made of. What provoked the team to start playing with passion and confidence? Maybe Sydney need some of that.
My vote is for the Lions, like Mike B said, they have showed us ALL what they are made of and are still a brilliant team 4 years later.
I admire the Saints' determination, but I wonder how long it will last!? They have showed they can win against terrific sides, but I wonder what will happen come finals time...Comment

Either the Lions or the Bombers, who are looking very ominous.Originally posted by taurus

The Saints are looking good also, but I keep thinking they will fall. The Destructive Dan Experience - Featuring Teal.

I think it would take an incredible event for Brisbane not to win again.
There are only three teams in good form this year - Brisbane, St Kilda and Essendon.
The rest are either patchy, generally ordinary or crappy.
St Kilda possibly don't have the experience in their first finals stint.
I don't think Essendon has the tools to beat Brisbane.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.
