Don't mind if he does a Wallace '96 - that was only a 3-7 effort (note also Joyce was sacked after the Swans smacked the Bulldogs that year!).

Roos' effort was better - we went 6-4, with a string of 4 wins to finish.

Note also that both coaches took their teams to the preliminary finals the following year, were looking the goods to 3 qtr time and were overrun by the eventual premiers.

From there our paths diverged and hopefully they continue to do so after one crossover...

fosdike traded to adelaide for whom???

draft picks?? i dont see a player i think adelaide would give for him that we would want or need

besides they are prolly angry after the ryan fitzgerald and scott stevens pick ups from sydney

i seriously think fosdike is ok..... i think since say 1996 we have had some great midfielders kelly, cresswell, maxfield, dyson, williams, schwass et al... fosdike is only now starting to find a spot

you look at the footy line up and say you can have five small midfielders, centre line and ruck rover and rover our five best are made up of williams, maxfield, kirk, matthews, j.bolton and even crouch ahead of fosdike... so he hasnt really had the chance to settle in as a permanent starting midfielder .... willo and maxfield will be less and less in the midfield then he needs to step up... i think he can ... and he deserves a shot before we get rid of him IMHO

My suggestion is that Adelaide will utilise all the draft picks they have available for young talent and possibly their biggest contribution to trading will be players for picks??, but time will tell I guess.

Unless a 23 yr old superstar is available, I don't think the Adelaide public will stand for trading of draft picks.

He was, but know hes done his knee and makes him very unattractive, I think Fosdike is fairly safe unless something comes up ie he wants home or a great deal.

At the moment Nicks would have nice value and seeing we tried to offload him last year he would have to be a chance, I also think theres teams looking for a utiility who can play forward and kick goals. again given his form we could may still keep him.
