I sure hope that Eade gets the job with the Tigers, cos then we would have somthing to compare his years with us to !!

These guys don't seem to impressed by the prospect of Eade as coach

I remember being able to get up to the huddle out at campbelltown some years ago for a preseason, and Eade was giving them all a bake - particularly Stafff, who lamented " .. ohhh c'mon rocket it's not that bad". To which our head-smoothing ex-coach shot back, "well, would you like to see the game from my perspective .. ON THE SIDELINES?!"

Staff spoke back to Rocket in a huddle??

No wonder he was traded. Not many players in the AFL would dare try that, and none would get away with it.

          They're Richmond supporters - wouldn't have a clue!!

I hardly think the Swans had a ready-made finals team in 1996, as some seem to think, and they do underplay his good record.

It seems Greg is braver than I thought!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Eade is a great tactical coach. Perhaps not necessarily a great people person. I think he'd be a good choice for Richmond.

Did ya hear the one about the Richmond player who though a tactic was a breath mint? Seriously, can Richmond players understand tactics? I think they are very weak above the shoulders

And I wonder how Stafford would welcome having Rocket as his coach again?

As well as McKernan welcomed Pagan to Carlton I imagine!!.

But unlike McKernan going home to North, Staff won't be coming home to us! (PLEASE!)

Stafford has always had a bit of an attitude problem, I think he should have been dragged for that.

                          Spot on.

It is funny, I have spoken to fans before who say that Eade just took all Barrasi's hard work to a grand final. If that is true, then Roos is simply taking Eade's hard work to the finals......

Our current and last two coaches have done great jobs in keeping this club competitive and most players that are currently on our list are there because of Rocket.

yeh he was a very good coach.... so easily could of been a premiership coach... we played a lot of finals under him and he started a winning culture
