    Fifth Quarter

Why don't TEN show the Fifth Quarter show when they broadcast a Swans game on the Saturday night? Instead they show some average and oft-repeated 80s action movie. Poor stuff.

I wish they did too. and wish even more that we got Before the Game too. Hell, change it back to After the Game like last year and show it up here!!!

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Seems so silly not show the shows. They invest so much in AFL, you would think an extra hour wouldn't kill them.

And considering its about 10:30pm, surely ratings can't be the reason for the choice. If anything, I would imagine that they would get better ratings from people staying tuned after the game finishes.

Wasn't the fifth quarter a light-hearted comedy half-satire thing with Dave Hughes, Pete Hellier & cant-remember-the-rest?

I saw the preview to it last night and the whole setup now looks like yet another analytical talking heads exercise. Please explain?
Good men do good deeds. Evil men do evil deeds. But it takes religion for a good man to do evil deeds.

That show was called After the Game last year, but they moved it to be shown before the game and hence was called Before the Game. They don't show this in Sydney at all.

The Fifth Quarter is basically a show that wraps up all the Saturday games with highlights and some discussion. They show quite a lot of action, and I was looking forward to seeing that Daniel Wells goal that has everybody talking.

Finally saw that goal by Wells on the sports segment on the Panel last night, Goodesy might have a rival for goal of the year! Now I know why Laidley said about wells "he's super, I love him"!

After The Game wasn't too bad last year, bring back Diary of a Footballer!

I just saw it on WLF tonight (they had Drew Petrie on) - Goodesy will still win goal of the year.
