I know this is a bit left of centre, but with Port and Freo contributing so many players to other clubs, I wonder if a second Freo and a second Port team could be constructed from the ranks of former players of the Freo and Port sides (both AFL SANFL and WAFL) now playing in the AFL.
A 2nd Port team could have Nathan Buckley, Mathew Lokan, Alan Didak, one of the Wakelin twins (all Pies), Heath James (Syd)...Aron Fiora (rich)...Johncock (crows)..Scott Thompson (demons)...
A 2nd Freo team could have Clement, Woewodin, Brodie Holland, Tarkyn Lokyer (all Pies)...Sinclair...White...Jonathon Hay...Gaspar...Andrew Krakouer...
Any others? I think I've just scraped the surface...then the challenge is to put them into two teams in position...oh well, it whiled away a few minutes thinking of this one...
