I like Rocket and its kinda sad to see him go to another club. He still had that glint in his eye when he spoke about the swans.

Shame he left the way he did. Good luck to him as he faces a huge challange. If the doggies fail under Rocket then its sayanara Western Bulldogs and hello Western Kangeroos

I'm looking forward to seeing how he goes with the Bulldogs. I think they will do okay over the next couple of years. Their biggest problem will be the ageing and retiring of their best players within a few years. Next season they will be:

      Darcy 30
      Grant 32
      Johnson 29
      Smith 32
      West 30

Will they be able to replace these guys without slipping further down the ladder.

He has total control at the Dogs, plus is not expected to win premierships.

I think it is a great choice in rebuilding his reputation etc.

Hawthorn, Richmond and Adelaide expect to win premierships soon, the Bulldogs just want to be competitive.

If he can move them back to being competitive and the club is being managed well off the field, then the sky could be the limit for both the bulldogs and Eade.

i see what ur saying... i mean wallace could still be at the dogs if he wanted!! just has to make them competitive again

thats richmond and hawthorns biggest problem the last few years they expect a flag!!! when lets face it they are no where near good enough but 2001 (from memory) built up false expectations for both
