    Wow to 5 years.

Have the feeling he is just what they need though. Think he will do a bit with them.

Wow 5 years... well I guess it'll put to rest ALL the talk about where HE is going.
Eade to the Crows? That was the rumour on Sunrise this morning.

Eade to the Hawks IMHO, Craig will get the job at the Cows and either Libba or Royal at the Dogs (being rookie coaches, they can't demand salaries the dogs cant afford, plus they are dogs through and through)

        I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Just reading the Punt Road end forum and they are all excited. Good to see them happy for once at Richmond!

Good signs for a revival..be interesting to see it play out.

As long as they don't beat us, I like Richmond being successful, I love thier song lol

I am sure that feeling of happiness will only last as long as it takes for him to lose his first match

Interesting they signed him to a long term deal, could get very messy there

Instead of saying "Wow to 5 years" I am gonna say "Richmond are fricking idiots.
Two tried & tested coaches out there.
3 if you wanna count Ayres as one.

              4 clubs needing a coach.

Wallace laid out his demends and got what he wanted.
              Good on him.

              Richmond are fools.

Unless you are signing Sheedy, Matthews or (maybe) Pagan, the maximum for a new coach should be 2 years IMO.

So he's been signed for 2 1/2 times longer than what I think.
              Believe it or not!
              lol

Time will tell with Wallace at Richmond, as it will with Roos at Sydney.

Wallace is just what Richmond need . . . he'll turn the place on its head, and will turf out all the deadwood. And he won't tolerate the wimps and dummy-spitters in the Tigers' squad.

BTW, the ABC tonight said his contract is for 4 years?

its a risky contract for a team with such a bad run in coaches!

he wasnt all that great at the dogs anyway.!

Chances of him seeing out the term are 1000 to 1.

Although, if he can achieve the impossible and add anything that resembles consistency to Richo's game, they should sign him for ten.

Def 5 years, he confirmed it on Fox Footy last night.

I agree that he is what they need, and by the looks of it, the board have said "Do what you have to, you have our blessing". Great position for a coach to be in.

Is Nathan Brown going to do a McKernan and want to leave Richmond after next year? Or does he have a better relation with Wallace than McKernan does with Pagan? And would we want him if he did leave Punt Road?
