      Their new alternate strip.

It looked absolutely ridiculous. Remided me of the Super League rugby league jumpers of 1997, which had a lot of white on them.

        Tacky!

I watched it live in Melbourne (woohoo, live footy on a Saturday not involving the Swans!) and was wondering that myself. I think the newish Saints jumper with the white cross thing would have classed with the dark purple and red away guernsey with the white anchor. And Freo's home guernsey probably isn't any better either, have white and red on it as well.Hence the white "change" strip with the purple anchor.

Good to see at least a few clubs willing to be proactive at avoiding guernsey colour clashes, unlike the maggot stick-in-the-muds like Essendon and Collingwood.

As I knew that we were guaranteed a spot in the finals, I could go back to following Freo again. Under finals-like pressure their footskills were atrocious. Was overly convinced about St Kilda for that matter either. Nor was I about Port Adelaide today in the Showdown for that matter.

I never understand what all the fuss is about?

As far as I'm concerned, there are only two types of strip: those that clash, and those that don't.

              I only like the latter.

To remind them that if they lost they could use the guernsey to play cricket in.
