    Hart Retires

Well, the turnover continues at the Brions - Shaun Hart has called it quits. Pity he finished up the way he did.

On a more amusing note, in the same article I read this info in (the optusnet cable portal), there was a typo when mentioning other Lions retirements of Craig McRae and Alistair Lunch - made me wonder if the author was a Kiwi who had dictated the copy to someone else who typed it up....

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I have a lot of respect for Shaun Hart on and off the field and as you said Mike it was a shame to see him retire after such a dismal ending.

Amazing turnover of players at the Lions. Will be interesting to see how they go next year, expecially if Brown gets 6 or so weeks!
    Swannies for life!

They will have a lot of room under the salary cap. I can't imagine them losing any players they really want to keep.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

Don't think Shaun Hart will be feeling too sorry for himself after his face heals up.

Ask Plugger or Kelly, or almost any other player if they would suffer a caved in face for one little flag and you'd be hard up to find a negative responce.

          I'm sad.

          Hart was my favourite non-Swan.

          Oh, well, such is football,
