    Lynch gets 10

Not like it really matters though.....unless of course he does a Plugger....

Sad way to end a career.
A lot of them did seem to be fresh air shots
    Bring it on!

Don't agree with 10 weeks at all...that is far too much.

But I agree that grand final suspensions have to be harsher, or you could have complete anarchy.

How bad was it? I didn't see it.

Still, why are they penalising him at all, it will have no effect.

think the $15,000 fine will affect him

if he refused to show the club can be penalised

How could you miss it :lol

Seriously, if they are gonna suspend the hell out of someone, then he deserved it.

                  He was on a rampage.
                  See his eyes?

He knew he wouldn't be playing on and didn't give a @@@@ about the consequences.

If the AFL don't penalise him, they open the door for any player in his final year to beat the hell out of an opposition player.

That is what I believe given the AFL's policy on suspension etc.

Personally, I think there should be more of what happened happening in the game.
                  Much more exciting.

Easy if he takes up a coaching role next season, he won't allowed to enter the playing arena until Round 11, if he plays for a local team next season he has to miss 10 matches in that comp. So the 10 matches MEANS something, just won't have the same effect if he played on next season.

i think they made it extra harsh because they didn't want to seem to be letting him off just because he was retiring. again it highlights the tribunal inconsistency we have seen all year.

brown will go for 6 IMHO. just having a stab, but the guy needs to go for a while, he is an out and out tool.

                            Poor bastard!!!

The 10 weeks is to serve as a reminder to others in th a GF not to throw their weight around, not to punish Lynch.

But seriously if they had of given him a week for each punch that actually landed then he would've only got about 2.5 weeks!!
