    Brownlow eligibility

Apologies that I can't find the article anywhere now, but was reading yesterday that players found guilty at the judiciary will still be able to win the Brownlow, but only those found guilty of minor offences. Bascially with each offence having a point value, they have drawn the line at a 100 point offence (before discounts for good records/early pleas etc) as the eligibility criteria, so that if you are guilty of an offence worth less than 100 points (minor tripping and miscounduct charges only) you will still be eligible for the Brownlow.

Seems like a pretty sensible approach to me.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

i think suspensions should ruin brownlow chances at all.

if you miss multiple games and still poll enough votes then ur a pretty good player. Particularly as just about anything rough is given a suspension in modern footy.
