The best Forward Line, Best Defence and Best Midfield from the comp who would you have. Remember that these are teams within teams...so Melb attack is rated ahead of Port attack 'cos I think they have a really good balance and work it well.


I'll have a go at top three for each. I reckon there are five players in each group...with at least one small needed forward and back.

We know that six are always named, but in reality one of those is a floater or midfielder.

I can't be bothered thinking of every team...but I've thrown a few others in for consideration in no particular order so put in ones I haven't thought of...and rank as you will.

To make thinking easier I have been using the AFL dream team page as a starting reference...though I've put players where I think they belong. Obviously you can't have Hird in the forward line AND the midfield for example or Crouch in defence and midfield etc....that would be cheating
