Telstra Stadium and Dome. The best atmospheres ever.

Telstra stadium has the worst atmosphere of any ground and I still haven't sat anywhere at the ground for any sporting event that gets you close to the action.

Telstra Dome has you right on top of the game and the MCG just has an amazing atmosphere.

The SCG with a full house isn''t too bad either. Much better than when there was only a few thousand there.

          SCG
          Manuka
          MCG
          Telstra Stadium,

Out of the grounds ive been too,my vote goes to the SCG.

Ive been to Telstra Dome for the wrestling in Melbourne and i was very impressed.Have to go there to see a game!

I've been told that Gabba aint too bad either
Well done Craig Bolton for getting the co- captaincy in 2008.

Your determination, your tenacity and your under-rated skill is why you have become my favourite player!

I voted for the Gabba because I think it is not only the ground with the best facilities but it has a great atmosphere, especially at night games when people are turpsed up a bit.

Do I enjoy going there as an away supporter; not particularly. At night matches the locals can be pretty obnoxious to away fans. during the day they are all kind of docile and sleepy. But at night the abuse comes out. We have had people who won't go back to the Gabba after the abuse we copped last year in Round 1. And I'm not just talking about Big Ears from Mulgrave either.

I don't really have a favourite ground. I enjoy my trips to adelaide probably the best of all, especially against Port because of the BBQs we organise with Paralowie Power and his outer army cohorts. But even against the Crows it is still heaps of fun in the Shed before the game, as the locals are surprisingly warm and courteous to us. away support in SA is growing lots as well. Hopefully we will have a big contingient go over against the Crows in July.

Subi would be up there with the better grounds in the league, at least if you sit at the left-of screen end. Lots of Swannies there too, which makes for great chanting and support for the team. Plus the get-togethers at the Irish club before and after the match makes you feel very much at home as well.

Sydney matches are kind of routine and everyday to me. Hence I'd say my days at both Sydney based grounds are the least interesting.

I've been to the first seven grounds listed. Out of those, Docklands gets the nod ahead of the MCG and SCG. Stadium Australia isn't too bad, but Kardinia, Princes and Footy Parks are substandard in comparison.

I love Telstra Stadium and disagree that it has no atmosphere. Next for me is the MCG, followed by Telstra Dome then the SCG.

I hate AAMI Stadium, despite it being the only ground where I have seen my team (back then) win a premiership (Glenelg in 1986).
