Saints - Flash In The Pan?

i know it's only round 3, but they just cant seem to hold it together. That win over Fremantle was extremely lucky in my opinion, against the away team, and they just can't seem to hold it together, especially up forward. With riewoldt and Kotitszche back it might make a difference, but i don't think they have a top four finish in them this year.

sure would hate to be the saints captain at the moment. first riewoldts shoulder and now ball's nose.

i think riewoldt back in the side makes a difference, but i have doubts over koschitzke's impact. he's always injured, and so never has enough time to assert his influence.

today they just looked like a soft young inexperienced side. so much for the master plan and change of culture by acruing so many high draft picks.

one thing that struck me was how bad goddard's kicking skills are considering how high he was a number 1 draft pick.

Jeebus christ! I tipped Saints, and they lost. I tipped Blues, and they lost. I tipped Brisbane, and they lost (yay). I've got 2/5 so far.

      St Kilda totally lost it.
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.

as swans fans we know full well the pressure is on the year after a prelim birth. I dont like them but they are good and young and missing the best player in the comp.

Though i dont feel ive seen enough of stkilda to judge them this year.

one thing, are we all understimating north?? (kangas or whatever they want to be called)

We'll wait and see - they often start off well.

StKilda will come good. Missing a few players and still trying to get going.

yeh im hesitant to see north as much, but they do play well as a unit, but lack a bit. One thing they have going for them is that simpson hasnt been up to his best yet and is a good footballer!

One of the big differences for me at the moment with St Kilda is Gehrig is nowhere near match fit. Add that to no Riewoldt and all of a sudden their marking power up forward is virtually gone.

Their midfield is still full of class, and they will come good. Top 4 could be out of their reach depending on how long it takes to come good though, but they should still make the 8 comfortably.

                I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Thta is about right. When a game plan is built around having certain players on the ground and they are not there or not firing, the game plan just goes out the window.

yeah, i reckon you'd get good money for a bet that they miss out on the top 8.

how angry does it make everyone feel to see Shannon Grant being so dominant at crucial times in the game, now 2 weeks in a row?

Because if you say Jeebus, Goth gets tricked and doesn't think you are blaspheming. He's pretty easy to trick for a Dude that made the Universe.
