    "Seriously AFL"

It's pointless fluff, but I love Seriously AFL! The interview this week with LRT was interesting (he's very well-spoken), and Simon Black REALLY can't sing.

Granted, it's not top-quality TV, but it's nice to get a bit of footy fluff between matches.

    Aha! The mystery is solved!
LRT is in the team because Roos has identified a lack of 'eloquence' across half-back. I guess it was obvious in retrospect, because no one can understand Kennelly.

Well, it's the best reason for LRT playing, that I've heard yet.

The Irish have had some of the most eloquent humans in the history of English:

Oscar Wylde and Wiiliam Butler Yeats to name just 2.

You just have to play him back at half speed!

        He talks like he runs.

James Joyce, Seamus Heaney and, my personal favourite, Roddy Doyle. For such a small country, they've contributed an awful lot to Western literature.

And I've always thought Kennelly to be quite eloquent...

Oscar Wilde and William Yeats was so eloquent they could even spell their own names correctly!

Isn't that why the Irish (from the north I expect) wear 2 condoms?

Have only seen it once for about five minutes and it wasn't too bad.

Is it a similar idea to Just AFL which was on a few years ago ?

I watched Seriously AFL for just the second time on the weekend and I think its great that Ch 10 now has a 30 minute weekly show pretty much dedicated to the Swans. Cheers to Ch 10.

Now all we need is a link to that feed so we can watch Sydney TV in Melbourne.

And we want to watch some Melbourne TV in Sydney (if they ever get that !?*!!* webcast site online again!).

Fluff or not, I also enjoy watching "Seriously AFL". It gives you some interesting insights to see how the boyz spend their leisure time, who can cook and who can't etc etc. It adds a bit more personality to the player you see on the field.
