This made me think - are priority picks based on number of wins, or amount of points?

Coz if it is just on wins, you could tie every game (gives you 44 points from the 22 regular season matches), and you may just scrape into the finals, where you'd be a pretty sure thing to be able to match any team you have to play, considering you've already tied with them once or twice. So you come away with the flag AND you get the first priority pick in the draft!!

    Somehow I doubt it.

It is amount of points (not more than 20 or is it less than 20)

Actually I think seeing a sell out for two low teams reflects how great the game of AFL really is. If it was league they struggle to get 25,000 for their top two teams playing whilst AFL gets 80,000 for two struggling sides!!

        AFL is the winner!!

Absolutely. NRL are playing a test tonight - Aust v NZ and no one really gives a toss about it. Essendon and Collingwood dsereve to have this game on ANZAC because those clubs, hate them as you might, have worked hard to make this big event game work, no matter where they sit on the lader.
