    real footy

what a pleasure it was to watch real afl played at mcg today.much better than all those "rugby" style games we have been seeing.just hope that other coaches realise you can have forwards inside the 50. "attacking 50 " that is
    forgotten 1996
    2005 a much sweeter memory,2012 even better

Only saw the last few mins, but with a score of 22.11 to 20.9 I'm sure it would have been a great game to watch.

Who'd have picked Farmer to kick 7 though?

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

      It was bloody fantastic!

Pavlich was on fire. Big bags kicked by folks on both teams. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Yep - 42 goals in a game. What we like to see. They managed to kick more goals in an afternoon than we have kicked in our last 4 games!!

I heard on the radio that Andrew Demtriou bagged our style of play today too, saying we were dull and unlikely to win too many games with our game plan.

Is Melbourne vs Fremantle still on?

You mean TV or actually still playing?

Never mind, I wanted the score and AFL didn't have it up yet.

A great game to watch. When Melbourne made a run at the Dockers the Dockers didn't try and close down the game, they just tried to score more points!
