As some of you know I live in Southern California, and I'm a huge Swans supporter and passionate follower of God's game.
I'm currently forming a new footy club to compete in the California comp, but it's a task that can't be done properly alone. So I'm hoping to find a few other people (swans supporters in particular) who love the game and want to give something back.
I've been involved in the game in the states since 1998 when we started the California Australian Football League. Having just moved to the LA area, it's the perfect time to start a new club with proper colors. Since it's inception there have been ups and downs, but noone has been able to sustain a team in Los Angeles. This is about to change.
I've been an administrator at the club and league level and I understand the challenges of running an Aussie Rules Club in California. So if you know a fellow Swans supporter currently living in the Los Angeles area please have them contact me at [email protected]. Or if you know someone isn't a Swans supporter, but they love the game let them know too. Unless, of course, they're a Magpie supporter. In which case, forget you ever read this post.
