    The most annoying cheersquad!

My vote for the most annoying cheersquad goes to...

    ST KILDA

Has anyone else noticed for the past couple of years, you hear it on t.v and I experienced first hand sitting above them last week that after EVERY goal they sing the SAME STUPID chant. It goes something like...

"Kick us another one, just like the other one...whoooooo"

I yelled out several times.."Think of something original!"

I think they are still trying to work out the meaning of original.

Any other votes for the most annoying cheersquad?

Yep, I've noticed that too.....except you missed the bit about "goal, goal goal" before the "whooooooooo". And then of course there's that one woman who can ALWAYS be heard at every centre bounce yelling "Caaaaaaaaaaaarn Saaiiiiiiiiiiinters".

The amusing one for me is Geelong....when they go for the "team name - clap clap clap" chant its Geeeeeee-long - sounds pathetic.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

I don't think Geelong is the only club that uses that chant. I'm sure I've heard a few other clubs (Sydney included) using that one.

Too true. There isn't just one most annoying cheer squad. I cannot stand them all.

It's not the style of chant - its the way they pronounce Geelong to fit in with the rhythm of the chant. It's just all wrong.

                Geelong don't even say anything!
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.

I also love the Hawthorn cheer squad pronounciation of Hawthorn as...

                  HAW FORN!!

Obviously with a few front teeth missing it is hard to pronounce Hawthorn correctly!!

Yeah, they draw out the G so that it sounds like "G-String". Since when were the Cats playing in a town called "Geeee-long". Still they are the ONLY people who ever make any noise at the Cattery, so give them that! Without them, the ground would be more of a morgue than it already is.

The most annoying Cheer Squad, well it used to be North Melbourne. Its secretary resembled a rat, and was so up her self it wasn't funny. One day when it pelted down she was screaming that the AFL HAD to get them seats under cover. Other arrogant Cheer Squads are Richmond, Carlton (fully sik) and Essendon, who had their chant leader, a passionate fella too, kicked out for no apparent reason. (That would never happen here in dignified Sydney now would it?)

these days I'm not a fan of the Melbourne Lions Cheer Squad. Aggressive, arrogant, incredibly bad losers, and with a president who took narkyness to the extreme last year by coming over and telling us to not use our drum because we were winning. a bunch of tossers if I ever saw one!

The Cheer squads I get on with are Port, Hawthorn, Fremantle (Melbourne), Eagles (both Melbourne & Perth), and Adelaide.

JF You are obviously part of the cheer squad at the moment so don't want to offend... I personally have no time for cheer squads. (All cheer squads seem to have more than their fair share of unusual characters).

You can always rely on a couple of loud mouths around the crowd prepared to get people going (Like PH in bay whatever). And this happens in every spectator sport.

Im more concerned about their diet & eating habits than anything else !

Clearly they all share one meal and one half gets too much, and the other half, not enough.

Time for individual plates i think !!!
