Port Adelaide and Vodafone?s search for the most fanatical Power fan in the land has been narrowed down to five and now we need everyone?s help to decide who should be crowned the Vodafone Most Fanatical Power Fan.
The top five super-passionate Power fans are now on show at PortAdelaideFC.com.au and voting has just begun to decide who is the most fanatical.
Voting is by TXT message only and is charged at 55c. It works like Australian Idol, not Big Brother, you TXT the first name of who you think should win! The number is 1972 0000.
The club and Vodafone had hundreds of fantastic entries and we think they should all stand as proof that Power fans are the most fanatical in the AFL.
But in the end we had to settle for five and have come up with four girls and one guy, all passionate, fanatical, possibly even obsessed!
Here?s a quick rundown on the final five:
- Tess Welford who has Power wallpaper of a unique, fanatical kind.
- Murray Bridge resident Audrey Gates and her hundreds of home-knitted Power teddies
- Teenager Nicole Trinne for the creative way she displayed 100 different photos of herself and friend Flic with Power players to spell out ?WE LOVE POWER?
- Alex Bence and the other ?Members Boys? who many fans will know as the loud and proud ones in the members area of AAMI Stadium.
- Pina and Livia who are partial to teal?so partial they don?t mind being on the web wearing teal wigs.
Voting closes midnight 12 August. The winner will be announced on August 13, Showdown 18 day, at a special Rundle Mall event, and through Mix102.3.
The prize is a trip for two to Brisbane to see the Power play the Lions plus be in the rooms and on the same flights and hotel as the team. All five finalists also receive a new mobile phone and 12 months of free calls thanks to Vodafone!
