    Henneman cited for Schneider strike

Aaron Henneman, Essendon, has been charged with a Level Three striking offence against Adam Schneider, Sydney, during the first quarter of the Round 19 match between Essendon and Sydney, played at the Telstra Dome on Saturday August 6, 2005.

He can accept a two-game suspension with an early plea.

The incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), medium impact (two points), in play (one point) and high contact (two points). This is a total of seven activation points, which relates to a Level Three offence, drawing 325 demerit points and a three-game suspension. He has no applicable good or bad record. An early plea reduces the penalty by 25 per cent to 243.75 points and a two-game suspension.

Dead right Charlie. I've just had a look at Bomber Blitz for a laugh and that's exactly what they are saying. And if any-one thinks LRT has copped it big time (although he does get a mention on BB), the Bomber ferals are giving Justin Murphy three times as much.

More relevantly for us, Charman has also been cited and offered a one week suspension.

          Great for Swans.

Very very bad for my FF team.

Overall net good - I'll take one for the team!

Yes I mentioned the Charman one in another thread but Henneman is the player the Bomber fans love to hate. Mark Bolton a close second. And son of Tim is not highly rated either.

              In other tribunal news:

Pickett offered a week for engaging in rough conduct

Kosi offered a week for striking Corey, plus a couple of fines for contact with an ump

Headland reprimanded for the charge on Coughlan, suspended for 2 weeks for striking Campbell (due to the carry over points from the charge)

Chick given a reprimand for the cheap shot on Grant

              I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

You are a noble, noble, noble man.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
