    Shock indig injuries!

A decision to undergo knee surgery has ended the season of Hawthorn's surprise Coleman Medal pacesetter Mark Williams.

Williams has kicked 63 goals in 19 games this season, and led the competition until round 18, when St Kilda spearhead Fraser Gehrig booted seven goals against Melbourne to overtake him.

Williams suffered a knee cartilage injury in the same round against West Coast, and after being hampered in last weekend's match against Brisbane, elected for surgery today.

Daniel Motlop has also re-injured the hamstring and is out indefinitely.

Baz can do it anyway with a few more games like WC and Bombers. I'll conveniently forget aboutthe one in between.
