    Umpire Cant Blow Whistle Due to Foot in Mouth

    Seems our favourite umpire Darren Goldstink may be in a little trouble. Rumour out of Melbourne has him supposedly putting off Richo from a shot at goal. Supposedly he said "Take ya time Richo. You need this one"

    Who says? Richo does, on ABC News. I didnt hear it, they were talking about it on 3AW, and whilst there was some debate as to whether it was a tongue in cheek comment or a joke (i.e. that Richo was making a joke) there may be some truth to it

      Its in this mornings paper.

      Ump advice stuns Richo

      Although it says it was on SEN.


      Maybe this will open the communication channels between players and umps, and the players can now tell the umps, when a free kick should be paid.

          Richo was interviewed on White Line Fever last night and he told the story. So it's not just a rumour, but Richo just thought it was a bit of fun. Terry Wallace was in the studio and smiled about it but said he gave Richo a bit of a talking too at the break.

              What?s the bet the AFL sweep this under the carpet and tell us to move along nothing too see here.

              Goldspink should be dropped for one match.

              This gives a clearer indication that the maggots umpire a game subjectively and not objectively.

                      Goldspink is no Peter Cameron. Cameron was a master of the art of sledging players, and was also known to tell players if they were "hot".
