    A question

Can't remember the exact circumstance today at my son's PF game but the answer to either senario would be appreciated.

Boundary throw in and the ruckman punches it OOB, should that be a free kick.

Ball up very close to the boundary and the ruckman punches it OOB, should that be a free kick.

Pressure game so the instructions were to keep knocking it out of bounds.

Boundary throw in - free kick.

Ball up - only if the umpire decides it's deliberate.

      I assume you mean OOBOTF.

Yes - that's what I thought, so Charlie's comments are correct.

You sure Charlie? I thought any (boundary or ball-up) OOBOTF from a rucking punch was a free?

Especially as the clock keeps ticking in junior footy

Geez that game sounds as if it'd be more boring than the proverbial Swans game!
