But the way things are going, it might not even matter - we may have to go to Subiaco next week after all!

Those WA commentators are shocking. Who is that George? But they do agree that the West Coast are lethargic. Another positive!!!

yeah the eagles look lethargic alright, i reckon it'll be a close one though at the final siren, surely the eagles will come out fired up after half time

I have a feeling (OK, it's just an inkling really) if we end up playing West Coast we just might do to the Eagles on their home turf next week what we did to Port Adelaide in that second quarter in 2003...But we need to win to get the week off and take the "Subiaco curse" out of the equation.

I'm no good at motivational speeches, so I'll just rip off those who've done it before - here are some inspiring threads from 2003 to get the good vibes happening (Thanks to Dawson):

Yes, I somehow found those again despite forgetting the original thread titles!

I just can't see WC getting done twice in a row at home.

I can. We crap all over the Crows when it comes to forward line, and our midfield and backs are only very slightly weaker. Yet they are making it a real contest.

It was very similar to the Hodge incident our match today. It'll be interesting if either player go to the tribunal for it.

ETA: As SXP said below the injury Selwood sustained wasn't one that would help Riccuito's case either.

I don't think so. It was reported on Foxfooty, that the WC guy ended up with the broken jaw, which means minimum 3 weeks for Riccuito, maybe two if Tribunal hands down a lenient sentence.

I was watching it on Foxfooty and it wasn't a tackle, but a bump that probably went wrong.

He had no intention of trying to get the ball and he leapt in the air to make contact - the tribunal hate jumpers with raised arms.
