Brisbane whingers

Last week it was Aker whinging and this week its Voss. As if Brisbane as so hard done by! Get over it and move on.

I personally don't think that anything related to Brisbane playing a home PF in Melbourne can be regarded as whinging. Considering this fact, having a day less to prepare for the GF is probably a good point - I'd be annoyed if it happened to us.

My point is that this happened 12 months ago and they need to move on.

It possibly cost them a GF and given it was the last one played, "moving on" is something they are unlikely to have done yet.

I understand why they would complain. They put up with others telling them they have extra money and help all the time. It cost them a genuine shot at 4 premierships in a row if you ask me!

There is no evidence that the PF decision cost them the GF. They lost by a big margin to a better team. I really dont think that having to stay in Melbourne on Sat night made that much of a difference.

They were overrun in the second half after more than a day less rest.

cost them a decent shot, they had to travel for a home final and play it not only a day after port, but the night after.

Port spent the night after their game home in bed, brisbane finished a night later and still had to travel home and after a busy year it would make a difference

Actaully that particular "short" week cost Brisbane a spot in this year's Top 8 too.

It also explains why Alistair was angry on Grand Final day, not enough sleep for the big fella.

It also explains why Blacky was cranky, he didn't get another night in bed with the Mrs gggrrrrrr.

It explains the reason for Peter Beattie's bungled Dr Death Inquiry! Apparently Dr D was the stand in Lions Doc that week and just couldn't get a couple of those ageing champs up due to negligence. Apparently Fly had a consultation with him and is lucky to be alive today.

Vossy, Aker and co, we're all with you here in Sydney after the road trip we've had, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, except we don't mind travel, because it means we get to play footy in a national competition 7 days or 6 days apart, it's part of footy!
