    Voss

Don't know how many saw Voss on FF last night - what a class act! Articulate, honest, insightful - not adjectives one employs about an AFL player interview too often. As impressive on the couch as he is on the track.

The Lions will seriously miss him when he's gone as he said he'll either get into the media or coach in Melbourne when he's done.

He'd make a good apprentice at Sydney if we need one.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Have always enjoyed hearing him being interviewed because he is honest and doesn't hide behind cliches. Last night just re-affirmed that belief.

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Saw him in a totally different light last night. He was sensational, a real credit to the game.

Fair point - a part of his game that does him no credit. Only started in the last couple of seasons tho I think.

He is a joke/fraud. I hate him and do not respect him at all... he did come across good on FF, but I can't change my opinion of him from that. He is way too full of himself as well, I love seeing the Swans bury him and his arrogant side.

The only thing I respect him for is his 30m handpasses and his long, accurate kicks that he could pull off, that is it.

The guy places way too much importance on sledging and trying to physically intimidate opponents to defeat them. I have never respected people that do that constantly and I never will. For example, many times this season he has been more worried about sledging 18 year old rookies than playing footy, he is a 30 year old veteran? again, I can?t respect that, it shows that he has no dignity. If a player is that good, I don?t think they have to sledge and niggle to the extent that Voss and other Lions do to be able to be successful, those players aren?t class acts or champions in my eyes.

Lethal and Voss have a lot to answer for the current Lions culture, it is as arrogant as it is pathetic. They focus way to much on the physical presence, neiggling and sledging and now it is biting them in the but as sides now realise it is all talk. It has rubbed off on the young Lions players too, the likes of Corrie and MacDonald run around like they are world beaters for no reason at all.

When some Lions get penalised they carry on as like ?how can you penalise me? You can?t do that, we?re perfect?. I think that comes from the leadership, and it is very much the style of Lethal and Voss.

Plus the way Voss presents himself of television every week in Brisbane is equivalent to an arrogant politician. Again, I have little respect for that.

And did someone mention he dives on this thread? Well said.

Voss a class act? I think not.
