Seems a bit unfair on young Smith - one game in and then out. But I guess he will get more chances again soon. Davis had better show a bit more if he wants to keep his spot.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.
"[T]here are things that matter more and he's reading and thinking about them: heaven, reincarnation. Life and death are the only things that are truly a matter of life and death. Not football."
I thought Smith had done enough to retain his spot, but I guess I was wrong. Still, very good to see White and Kennelly in (although not necessarily an absolute in), and Brennan the hack out.
I guess Smith and Kennelly are similar type (though not quality at the moment) type players so that may be the reason for the ommission. And given our small forward line structure didn't work too well last week, White would be the sensible inclusion.

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Oops, I didn't spot Matt's thread and I assumed that Paul was the suprised inclusion!

Well if the mods are going to merge the threads could they at least ammend the title to "Davis and Bevan spared!"
