Does Goodes have a role in ATSIC team?

The Herald Sun (4 Feb) reports that height is the major concern for the Aboriginal All-Star team, which faces Carlton in Darwin on Saturday.

Yet curiously, Adam Goodes, the most experienced ruckman in the squad, isn't being considered for the role.

"We lack height but we have a pretty strong side," chairman of selectors Michael Long said when the team was announced yesterday.

"Most of the indigenous guys are all around the same height so we have to share, with Corey Achee and Darryl White sharing the ruck role," he said.

Hopefully, the All-Stars Coach, Michael McLean, has a better knowledge of the players in his squad.

Long confirmed that Michael O'Loughlin (thigh) was unavailable through injury.
