Magic Still a Chance for Prelim Final

Associated Press reports that Michael O'Loughlin still rates himself half a chance to play in the Swans' AFL preliminary final on Saturday week.

O'Loughlin strained a hamstring after kicking five goals against Melbourne almost a fortnight ago. Normal recovery time is four weeks for such an injury. But the intense treatment involving icing, stretching, and a gradual return to running would appear to be working ahead of time.

"I will say 50-50 at this stage," O'Loughlin said. "Its sort of too early to say I think. But this weekend I'm up to jogging slowly so that is a pretty big step so far."
