The Herald Sun reports that Sydney has secured its two most talented youngsters, Adam Goodes and Jason Saddington, to long-term agreements.
Goodes, the AFL's 1999 Rising Star, has extended his contract until the end of the 2007 season; Saddington until the end of 2006.
The signings are seen as the biggest impact yet of the appointment late last season of former Brisbane chief executive Andrew Ireland as the Swans' director of football.
The commitments from Goodes and Saddington are seen as a major show of faith in coach Paul Roos, who has been appointed for the next three years.
Paul Williams, club champion for the past two years, full-forward Barry Hall, and Nic Fosdike all are believed to have extended their contracts until after the 2005 season.
