    Martyn still in doubt

Adam Schneider, Nick Davis and Craig Bolton will make their Sydney debuts when the Swans face Carlton at Telstra Dome in the first game of the season on Saturday night.

Sydney will face a Carlton line up with four new faces, with Jarrad Waite and Jon McCormick making their AFL debuts and Barnaby French and Mick Martyn joining the Blues from Port Adelaide and the Kangaroos respectively.

But Martyn may still miss his chance to make his debut for Carlton. The veteran former Kangaroo defender pulled up sore from training earlier this week because of a knee injury and last night did not take part in on-field training. He will be tested again today, Friday, before a final decision is made.

Anthony Koutoufides ran hard throughout training and showed no ill effects from the knee injuries that have sidelined him over the past year. He has been named at centre half-back.

Denis Pagan will make his coaching debut for the Blues on Saturday night against Sydney.
