YZE is up for grabs and...

Apparently, we (amongst others) are showing an interest.

Be a good inclusion into our already talented Forward line, but Who would he replace?

    Do we really need him?

    Demons, Yze ready to split

Soft as butter Yze, but does have class. With the right coaching we could make him tougher but is 28. Still, i'd have a look in but i think he would stay in Victoria.

Wouldn't mind hearing the big OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOZ at the SCG.

Does this mean we will soon be getting the famous Yze_Magic (Yze_Class these days) coming acros to RWO as a Swans supporter.

All we'll need is Total Package & Dr Alf and we'll have some of the lowest life forms imaginable.

How about a straight swap for Spriggs?

Inclusion in our forward line?? Soft as butter??
We must watch games a little differently - I've seen alot of his games and Melbourne games.
Yze is more of a midfielder who occassionally plays in the forward line to plug gaps at times. He is a very talented midfielder and as the article indicates the vice captain at Melbourne. He'd be a great aquisition.

You could have published the same statement 3 years ago for woey.

There are a lot of similarities between Yze and Davis (of a couple of years back) in my view. Only think is, Nick had age on his side when we picked him up. I don't think Adam's worth the trouble

He played this role, as well as a small defender in recent years, but this season he was generally used as a small firward at the feet of Neitz and Holland and was on fire in the early weeks before a drop in confidence saw him as the most overrated player in the league. Id only trade fosdike or bevan, nothing more.

Any other old grandpas we could trade?

First Crawford, then Everitt, now Yze.

Why not just give Kenny Williams a run?

I thought Swans fans had learnt about what happens when you recruit old blokes.

Class player, though he struggled this year, was almost dropped. Would add much-needed polish to our midfield. Big question marks over age - could probably only expect 2-3 good years from him. But that probably fits in with our window of opportunity.

We're going to lose a few from the list this year (Nicks, Ball, Maxfield, maybe Willo plus surely one or two of Fixter/James/Sundqvist/Powell) so will be looking to pick up a player or two in trade period. If Yze is available, he could well be the best available.

Let's not exaggerate - Yze will be 28 next season. The same age as Paul Williams was when we recruited him.

Wouldn't be a bad pick up if we didn't have to give too much away. Straight swap for Saddington?

Right, and we'll also give Doyle for Everitt and why not chuck in Heath James for Crawford at the same time. And they all lived happily ever after...

Enough of this soft as butter cr*p.

I would have thought the value of talented players who can win a game off their own boot are priceless and has been shown over the last couple of weeks.

Our team has the toughness already, anything that adds a bit of polish would be most welcome IMHO.

if we added a second-round pick they might go for it as they need the height down there.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

I think that's a bit harsh. He's racked up a huge number of consecutive games & you don't do that by being soft.

Hard to see him leaving the demons, though. Sounds like they're trying to screw him ($-wise, i mean).
