    A Little Grand Final Trivia

To get into the spirit of grand final week I thought I might throw up a nice easy question for our history buffs without looking up any swans history books who was the captain coach of the 1933 premiership side?.
    cheers Ian

    Jack Bissett.

A slightly tougher one (history books allowed this time): Who kicked the winning goal with seconds left in the 1918 Grand Final?

Of the 19 who represented South in the 1933 GF, how many were "foreign legionaires"

That's the problem with modern day medicine - there's no more natural selection of the species.
No wonder there's so many Collingwood fans.

I believe 10 came but they all didn't play that day.

I'd say 14. Only because "Brain was one of only a handful of locals in South's 'foreign legion' "

I'd better clarify. My reference only refers to interstaters. Less than 9.

I'll guess seven. Faul, Diggins, Beard, Bertram and Nash were amongst them - I'll throw in McKay and Bowe as the other two? I can't really remember.

Hope my source was correct. Your turn Charlie.
