I posted the whole article in a separate thread as it is so good it deserves to stand alone.

Against the rules, but an exceptional exception hardly matters now!

          I will!

I've been so saddened at the disappearance of the contested overhead screamer in the last few years. So I was just thrilled to see the game decided that way. Utterly wonderfull . . . . although I suppose technically speaking Monty should have stayed at ground level for the crumbs.

He was rated as BOG by Roos in an interview on SEN earlier this afternoon.

Has anyone seen a full length shot of this moment? The only front-on, full length shot I've seen is a split-second later, with Leo having moved across to the RHS of the pack (LHS of photo).

That mark was somewhat of a throwback to Leo of old, he wasn't minding a key position opponent and was able to leap in from the side unattended rather than working a bigger opponent.
I really hope we can find a fullback so he doesn't get ground down like Dennis Carrol and can keep thrilling us with his leaps and runs.
                    PS
Did anyone hear Dave Hughes ask Niuck Davis whether it was Leo that was responsible for crop circles rather than alians?

When you see the replay again and again and again...they show the end on camera when the ball is kicked and Leo is 15-20 metres away near the boundary line...he runs flat out and...well you know the rest. SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!!

That's the problem with modern day medicine - there's no more natural selection of the species.
No wonder there's so many Collingwood fans.

Adobe ImageReady. Had to cut+paste each frame, then mess around with different optimisation settings to get it under 20k. Adding a slight delay betweens frames gives it a slow-mo effect.
