Chris Scott and Justin Leppisch are still in doubt for the match.
I don't believe that they will risk Leppisch, if that is the case thats great for us as he usually destroys us!

Apparently Lynch and MacDonald are both fit to play, and have been named.

I was also thinking Saddington on Lynch. I think he would be a better option than Schuable, who should be able to adequately pick up Bradshaw.

      Who will Craig Bolton take?

My matchups would be something like this for the match .....

      Barry Hall - Mal Michael
      Jason Saddington - Alastair Lynch
      Andrew Schuable - Daniel Bradshaw
      Craig Bolton - Darryl White
Adam Schneider - Luke Power/Marcus Ashcroft
      Michael O'Loughlin - Chris Scott/Chris Johnson
Nick Davis - Chris Scott/Chris Johnson
      Brett Kirk - Michael Voss
      Jared Crouch - Jason Akermanis?
      Adam Goodes - ?
      Daryn Cresswell - Simon Black

Just throwing some ideas in the air ...

With all the talk about LRT playing this week, can anyone give me an assessment of him.He seems to be another in the long list we are holding back from entering the fray.Is it because these kids are not strong enough. That would suprise me as Powell looked like a scrawny runt running around on Saturday night and he has been held back.Surely they won't learn anything in the second rate reserves comp they are competing in at the moment. Are we being a bit conservative with the development approach this year or are we doing this in the best interests of the kids?

I'm expecting Power on Schneider and it will be a welcome to the big leagues for young Adam as I expect Power will play him very closely! Very interesting to see how he goes.

Do you reckon Mal will go with Bazz up the ground or will Mal take the FF, i.e. Ball or Goodes? I think Leppa will be on Baz should he play.

Mal has taken his revenge after Pluggar kicked those 9 hasn't he. He's a bit of a star FB these days. Hard to beat.

MacDonald is definitely IN. McLAren (the back-up ruckman) has been omitted completely and MacD is the only ruckman named on the seven man bench. Also they are confident that Leppitsch will be right (though he down for a test on Friday). According to Lions website

In my estimations, it is only Cresswell, Doyle, Powell & Mieklejohn who have not played in a losing Swans side in 2003. Here's hoping that they can keep up their winning ways.

According to 2 mates of mine, who are actually playing in the ressies as regular fill-ins, said they were enormously impressed with LRT, infact he should be a mile ahead of Meiklejohn. Also Seymour looks fairly tender and wont be ready in a hurry. But LRT has gone hard at it week in week out and has great fitness. Hopefully will get a run this week

No changes to last weeks team so LRT, Stevens and O'Keefe are in the 2nds

It was in the Age today.

Disappointed not ot blood another kid (we'll be losing tomorrow, then ) but, gee it could dent a kid's confidence to play his first game on Lynch, Bradshaw and Leppitsch.

Hopefully Warfe will show me what I have been missing

The decision is understandable. A bench of Schneider, LRT, Meiklejohn and Powell would be too young, I think.
