Well done to Stu on his career at Sydney really gave it his all and a great inspiration as captain, unfortunatly the decision was some what forced due to injuries but all the best wishes to Stu for whatever the future holds.

        Onya Stuart Maxfield.

You were one gritty,no nonsense,under-rated player.

Thanks for the memories and enjoy retirement.

Its a shame you had to retire and couldn't be in the team last weekend.

        Cheers.
Well done Craig Bolton for getting the co- captaincy in 2008.

Your determination, your tenacity and your under-rated skill is why you have become my favourite player!

Congratulations Stuey on a great career. An outstanding
contributor the the club over all his time here. Loved watching him run down the wing and launch a long kick onto someone's chest. Will miss you. All the best for the future and hope you have some role at the club in future.

Tough as nails player and a Swans champion through and through. Loved his pace on the burst and his beautiful long raking left boot.

            Thanks Stuey!

Congrats, Stuey, on a magnificent career and on your amazing contribution to this club. My first memories of you were watching the Dyson-Maxfield combo busting the ball forward for Plugger, Obie or Mickey, and the memories just flow from there. Thank you.

Me too, but just before that I remember him playing a ripper game for Richmond against the Swans at the SCG in 1995. That game may have been responsible for the Swans's efforts to bring him north.

I'm glad they did. Well done Stuey.

Thanks to Stewie and all of the other retiring Swans for their service for the club. Bally may have been the only one of them to get a medal, but they'll all be missed and their efforts for the club respected. All the best for the future lads!
