Outside runner with good disposal skills?

I only mention him because the Australian mentioned Footscray was openly inviting offers for Petrick Bowden, Bandy, Rawlings and Brad Murphy.

Joel yes (though his disposal is variable), Patrick no.

He's more of a forward, though not really tall enough to play KPP nor quick enough to be a third tall. I'm not sure what value a not-quite good enough forward who has struggled to get a game with a bottom-to-middle of the road side that lacks a forward line would add to a premiership team whose forward line is supposedly its strength and which has the likes of Vogels, McVeigh and Malceski unable to get a regular game.

Who is this brad murphy bloke. height, Weight, type of player? I assume he's not as good as Robert Murphy who i'd love to see in R & W.

                Guernsey Number: 33
                Height 189cm
                Weight: 83kg
                Recruited From: Rupertswood/Calder U18
                Debut: 2004
Date of Birth: 27 October 1984

                ABOUT
Looked set to spend his second full year in the VFL ranks at Werribee but when the call-up came, this 20-year-old grabbed it with both hands in one of the most impressive debuts of 2004. He gathered 25 touches and two goals in round 20 against eventual premier Port Adelaide in Darwin, which allowed him to hold his spot for the final two games. Looks to have the goods to succeed at this level to go with a nose for goal and should be rewarded with more chances this year.

This however would go against our club policy of not recruiting d***heads.

Could not agree more. No matter how many of our guys' favourite pizza topping involves pineapple, that's not even 10% as bad as listing a freakin' Creed song as yr favourite. This guy is gawwwwwwn.

Lynx is the nastiest olfactory experience on the planet - and feels roughly like what you'd expect kerosene to feel like if you rubbed that against your underarms.

Still, I'm sure it works a treat down Footscray way - they'll have eaten most of the cats there anyway.

Hawthorn's now got a tough decision to make. Force a 32 year old who doesn't want to be there to serve out his contract, or take our offer.

Sydney should not consider trading Hall (ha ha), Davis, O'Keefe, Bolton, Williams, Schneider, Jolly, Kennelly, O'Loughlin, Ablett, Barry, Bolton, Crouch, Roberts-Thomson, Kirk, Buchanan or Goodes.

Saddo for Pick 27 from the Dogs - let's try and stitch this up tomorrow. That gives us picks 19, 27 and 35 - would tolerate losing all three. It's over the odds, but what price a chance at back to back flags?

Welcome aboard, Spida, if all goes to plan.

I can't see us getting him without giving up one of the 21 remaining players who played in the GF.

The Hawks have a relatively strong hand in negotiations because

                                a) the Swans are clearly very very keen
                                b) the fact they have offered him a three contract can be used to argue his value up a little
                                c) the Hawks have an easy fall back position - keep him. It's not a Davis situation where he can walk if he doesn't get traded. He's under contract.

I fear for the future of O'Keefe in the R&W if the Swans really do want Spider. Would make me very sad to see Pebbles go.
