Not since LRT in the Grand Final

        I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

He's actually Melbourne born. Went up to Sin City when he was 6.

?I have loved coming back to Sydney to play football and to be part of a Grand Final win with the Swans has been a dream come true,? Davis said.

?Now the challenge for me is to take my game to another level and at only 25 years of age I believe I have the capacity to do that.

?At the start of 2005 I made a commitment to work as hard as I possibly could to improve but now the challenge is to keep working even harder and I?m up for that challenge, it?s certainly an exciting time to be a Swan.?

Stirring stuff. (But he could just be hyper on the sugar from the KFC buns.)

I think given that they were urging him to go for a run shortly after the Grand final suggests to me that coaches and fitness staff will be on his case. Surely he's now worked out the connection between hard work and success.

2 year contract. If he continues to put the hard yards in over the next 2 seasons then the football department could be facing a pretty hefty price tag.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I questioned that too, maybe 2 year deals are in vogue? Why not 3, at his age?

There had been media reports that he was not over the moon about the details of the contract (his contract increase is primarily performance based). His management may want to be able to have him put another 2 good years in and up it. Likewise, the Swans might want to see him put in for the next 2 years like he did for the past year.

                          Good news about Nick Davis.

Lets just hope he carries the good form into 06!
Well done Craig Bolton for getting the co- captaincy in 2008.

Your determination, your tenacity and your under-rated skill is why you have become my favourite player!

Except being 2 years older there is less likelihood of an increase.

Score. As if he wouldn't re-sign though!
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.
