The dark side of us winning the Premiership is not how low we are in the draft......but the fact that I have now developed a taste for French Champagne(a Tautology I know). That is what I took over to the mainland with me for THAT GAME and no way was I going to carry those bottles back so it was champagne breakfasts, dinners and teas.
So tonight celebrating with my Mum her 83rd birthday I thought "What the Heck! What's another bottle?"
I spoiled the moment by saying "To the PREMIERSHIP" rather than "Happy Birthday"

Welllll...they still have the AFL's only self appointed "coach". So they are still being punished.

But it's their feral supporters that I have a problem with. At the dome when they beat us they were so arrogant and obnoxious. So I was glad to wave goodbye to them as they left the PF half way through the last quarter.

First time I have ever sung the song before the end of the game. Bloke sitting next to me was screaming at the departing Saint fans "Where are you going? There's still time left!!!" Hilarious. I hope they never win a flag under GT.

Curious - but they started leaving really early in the run-on. I still gave the a chance of getting back in.

That's a pretty old side with no depth, you'd think the window is well & truly shut for the Aints.

Yeah behind the cheersquad, about 30 rows back. I was there with my lovely 6 months pregnant wife.

I think I remember waving as they were leaving and saying "See you next year!!!" I'm not normally that rude to opposition supporters, but after all it was that arrogant mob from StKilda

...and I would never normally sing the song before the end of the match, I'm superstitious about that, but I got caught up in the euphoria of it all...after all we were on our way to the GF
