Swans Supporters - Grand Final Time Capsule

In a unique initiative the Sydney Swans are looking to "time capsule" the sentiments of supporters following the Club's historic 2005 AFL Premiership victory.

Swans Chairman Richard Colless said: "This premiership has been 72 years in the making and the idea for a "time capsule" came about after we received many letters of congratulations from supporters not only in Australia but from all around the world.

"Obviously the Swans premiership victory has touched a great many people as the letters have been extremely heartfelt and passionate. As a result we thought it would be a great idea to encapsulate the moment by encouraging all of our supporters to document their thoughts and send those sentiments to the Club."

To this end the Sydney Swans are encouraging all supporters to write, in 200-words or less, their deepest thoughts on the Grand Final and what this momentous victory meant to them personally.

The Club intends to collate all letters and store them for the future with a selection to be included in a future edition of the Swans Magazine. These letters will also be posted on the Sydney Swans website www.sydneyswans.com.au.

Letters should be forwarded to [email protected] or via mail to Swans Media P.O Box 173 Paddington, NSW 2021.

I am not sure if this has been posted or not yet but last week there was an article in the Herald Sun about the Swans wanting details from supporters about the following...

In 200 words or less they want to know our thoughts on the Grand Final and what the victory meant to us.

Just do seperate ones! If you had 1000 words of your thoughts, break it up into 5 emails.
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.

Just send them a copy of this thread: What was your reaction???????

punter257, cruiser and I have had quotes from this thread appear in the Premiership Souvenir special of Inside Football, and there's plenty of other good material from many other posters that would be worthy inclusions in this time capsule.
