I know picking Cupido may go against the 'no ********heads' rule, though hasn't Cupido's problem mainly been attitude related? Do you think he'll even be picked before the 4th round? Players moving to Sydney often do have a history of improving their attitudes. Think of Barry Hall and Nick Davis, just for two examples.

In a word NO...but in a few words I think you summed it up...he doesn't seem to fit in with the no ********heads rule. However your other points about Hall and Davis are food for thought.

Brereton remained a ****head, so it's not like Sydney is a magic cure-all for ****headedness. Liked his work though.

Maybe he was the reason it was brought in?

Hate to be picky, but the PSD (pre-season draft) is that thing for out-of-contract listed players. You know, the one that we got Craig Bolton through-- the same one that Ryan O'Keefe won't be in, in 2005. The thing with young kids (and the occasional cast-off) who aren't on AFL lists is just called the Draft. Or, in corporate-speak, the NAB AFL Draft (???).

Anyways: no. But thanks for asking!

Doubt he'd be around anyway, but I'd have to say no. Dropped by two premiership coaches doesn't bode well. Besides, where would he fit into our line up?

                    No.

Would like to pick up Armstrong if he's delisted by the Dees, though.

Don't think that is necessarily correct.

If a player has been delisted by his club, he can nominate for the National Draft if he wishes, or can just nominate for the PSD.

If a player hasn't been delisted (but is out of contract) he can't nominate for the ND because he will still be under contract at the date of cut-off for nomination for the ND. Whether a club delists a player about to come out of contract depends on individual circumstances - like whether the player wants to be delisted and whether the existing club is happy to let them go (or is trying to renegotiate as long as they can).

Cupido has been delisted so can choose whether or not to nominate for the ND.

I agree with your "no" part though.

We have taken two risks that I think could pay off.
Any more recycled players have to be able to actually get a kick.
                          This bloke can't.

I think people sometimes forget that he's been injury plagued and has only played around 50 games.

Was he "dropped" by Brisbane? I thought he only played 13 games there because he had two shoulder reconstructions and wanted to head home.

Number 1 for goals assists at Essendon in 2005 despite only playing 11 games. He was offered a one year, declined it and was then delisted. The only real attitude problem he had was being frustrated/lazy. That can change with the right guidance, perhaps in a place where they don't believe in the public humiliation drill.
