It would be fair to say that if there was an inkling that O'Keefe was jumping ship there would have been mention in trade week and a trade would have been done.

I would be surprised if he would leave the consummate coach for one who is genuinely struggling to keep his job. Seriously, what can Malthouse offer ROK that is better than Roos, apart from dosh. He would have to be telling him an awful lot of lies.

I've been saying the same thing for weeks now, that I doubt he would 'burn' the club but what is a concern is that he is reported as 'agreeing to terms', yet then is reported several times as 'close' to signing. If you have agreed to terms, in theory a signature should be a formality. Either he's still ambivalent or a bit of a mercenary without trying to sound too critical.
