FYI folks, The Swans Victory Pack 5 disc box set will be available at the majority of Kmart stores nationwide from Early next week (w/c 14/11/05) and will be priced at $79.98. A little bit cheaper for those of us that want to save a few pennies. Unfortunately(due to shipping issues as advised from head office 10/11 05) it will not be in store this week to take advantage of the 15% off store wide promo!

I watched the initial flurry of replays on Fox Footy so have seen the game about 6 or 7 times - I am reasonably confident we won.

With NAG, I suspect they will move across to burnt dual layer discs once it becomes more worthwhile. I would say that they have a fair bit invested in single layer burners and discs so they would be using them first.

          That's too technical for me!

Does anyone know if this (or any other) has the post-game celebrations? Also the pre-game run-out, and line-up? That's important if I'm going to shell out my hard earned.

            Thanks.

Sanity also have the 5 disc gold pack but the contents are slightly different. The highlights package is entitled "Bloodstained Angels".

I believe it's the same package. The highlights disk has been renamed since Sanity published their blurb.

I would expect the GF disk to be the standard GF disk so not much post or pre game stuff.

To squeeze more on would have meant sacrificing picture quality.

Who did they upset to change it from Bloodstained Angels to Sensational Swans? It's good, but doesnt have the same impact as bloody angels.

Looks like I'll be keeping my taped Ch10 coverage forever, looks more and more likely that this is the only way of having the lap of honour and pre match hoo har.

No wonder there's so many Collingwood fans.

I'm totally jealous, wished I actually taped it as well.

Refried Noodle, I would be very interested in getting a hold of a copy of your copy to see the whole victory lap and celebrations.

Would you entertain the thought of running off a couple of copies?

Would be willing to pay for the tape/DVD and postage!

                        Just watched the highlights DVD
I am not sure whether people want to know about it...or be surprised when they buy it, but I will say that its very different to the 2003 Highlights DVD

Yeah its good...it could have been better, but they always could be....its a very good collection of the game highlights

the positives compared to the 2003 one is that every game gets some attention. and there are some footage of GF celebrations that isnt on the GF video, e.g. at Punt Road. But (for those who will ask), no there is no complete lap of honour

the main negative was none of the side stories that the 2003 one had, e.g. the story about nick davis, comments from players

Wait for the 2-month anniversary special edition they can still extort more money from us.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

I taped everything too, but on a pretty ordinary 4hr tape. I have only watched it twice and I am afraid any repeated used will deteriorate it too far. Other tapes that I bought with it are next to useless after only three re-recordings.
