Just checked today. EZYDVD will have the 3 Disk set, the rest will have the 5 disk set. They are both called Victory Packs but the 5 DVD set is called the Victory Gold pack.

Release date for all packs (as per K-Mart & EZY DVD) is Wednesday 16th (as noted both in this Thread)

I've cancelled my order with Sanity & will wait for K-Mart release (catalogue due Wed with prices set for Thursday onwards (so I guess it will be in K-Mart Thursday)
2005 will live forever (or until we win another premiership)

    GO BLOODS!!!!!!!!

When I checked EzyDVD on Sunday (and again just now) they listed the 5 DVD pack at $99.95 and the 3 pack was nowhere to be found.

EzyDVD is Australia's largest DVD and Blu-ray retailer with every day low prices and largest range of DVDs and Blu-rays. Proudly 100% owned and operated.

It would seem the the 3 pack has disappeared into the ether.

I'll be buying the 5 pack (despite already having the GF disk and also having made my own GF disk)

I daresay they listed the 3-pack at first because every previous recent year has had a 3-pack

Bah to them - sounds like they are keen to double-dip and sting the eager people who already bought the grand final on DVD!

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

This beeautiful 5-disc set is a true Collector's Edition - each box is individually numbered and contains 2005 the Preliminary, Semi, Qualifying and Grand Finals plus the specially produced program 'Sensational Swans', charting the Swans amazing season and road to victory.
This brings me to an interesting point though. Why is it called a "Victory Pack" when we lost the first final?

I suppose we could claim a MORAL victory.. but I don't think I'll be watching that game very often.

Its a little bit the case of:

              - watch the qualifying final if you want to be reminded we were robbed and then to feel more vindicated when we win the GF

              - watch the last quarter of the semi final against geelong (over and over and over)

              - watch the first and last quarter of the prelim against stkilda

              - watch the whole GF (because its the GF) but watch the last 15 minutes or so over and over and over

Typical Hudson - has to say everything twice.

Leo Barry, you star was great. Quartermain gets criticised, but I think he's adequate and his commentary at the end of our favourite GF was nice.

I don't normally like Rex Hunt, but "What's wrong with the clock you bastards!" would have to be one of my favourites

                              5 DVD set

I checked with Sanity again, they said there's a problem with the supplier and it won't be released anywhere for another week at least.
                              Murphy, you are... a... elf

Thank heavens for that. I paid a bunch of bills last night and wasn't looking forward to being slugged another hundred bucks on the credit card

There's probably some sort of hold up on one or more of the DVDs in question.. mastering or duplication problems, no doubt.
