Strangely enough... he almost single-handedly dump us in it.
I reckon we would have been pretty upset if we had lost anyway. BUT compare the way you think you'd feel if we had lost by the full 23pts, versus if only his last kick had hit the post on the way through! Those 'if-only' losses really sting.
I almost feel sorry for Geelong and Mark Thompson, because I thinks he's a decent bloke and Geelong are a decent football club.
Occupational hazards:
I don't eat animals since discovering this ability. I used to. But one day the lamb I was eating came through to me and ever since then I haven't been able to eat meat.

I think you are being a bit harsh there S-man. He was one of the better players - 9 possessions in Q3 and an absolutely phenomenal individual performance which warrants an individual Toyota ad for at least 3 of his 4 goals. More like single handedly saved our proverbial!

Why worry about what ifs? If you worry about that you won't go out of the house for fear of what might happen.

Agreed. Why couldn't we have done that to Collingwood, or, in your case Cruiser, Port Adelaide?
I'm sure they're working on the Toyota ad as we speak!
Geelong coach Mark Thompson admits the ghosts of the last-gasp semi-final loss to the Sydney Swans still haunt him and probably will forever.
Thanks, Nick! [/B][/QUOTE]
Suffer - how many games have we been haunted by (beltings instead of a close loss). Who remembers that loss in 2000 to the Dons when they kicked a goal just before the siren.
It's football - get used to it!!!!!!!
We won, they lost, we're the kings of the castle!!!!!
2005 will live forever (or until we win another premiership)

I accidentally broke a plate when the Kangas beat us last year. When the "oob" deliberately was paid against us in the last minute I kicked the coffee table, turning it over...with a plate on it that I didn't know was there....smash

Don't worry about your grief, it was nothing compared to the canning I copped from about 300 Bombout supporters around me after bagging the Bombouts and particularly that donkey Alessio all day, only for Alessio to kick the matchwinner, four goals and play the best game for the Bombouts in five years.......
As I have lived in the Essendon area most of my life and know a couple of dozen Bombout fans, the phone never bl**dy stopped for the next three hours....
Yeah, I remember that game really well.....
Well somebody told me, You had a boyfriend, Who looks like a girlfriend,That I had in February of last year, It's not confidential, I've got potential
